For an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Mid 2015), Big Sur is the end of the line.
If your Mac had been a Late 2015 model, then you could have upgraded to Monterey. 2015 was a bit unusual in that Apple put out two 27" iMacs in the same year.
You can. An Mac that is Late 2014 or later Could update to MacOs Monterey
Yeah, sorry, missed the "Mid" part. It needs to be a "Late" 2015 iMac to support Monterey.
Monterey will not install on a mid 2015 iMac.
Not sure what the issue with the Apple ID is.
Apple says 'No', Abdullah-The-Best.
Thank you for replying to my post.

Hello Phil0124!
Thank you so much for your reply and help.
My iMac 27" is Mid 2015. The compatible sheet lists Late 2015.
Do you think it is worth the try?
Thanking you again.

The ID showing is NOT my Apple community ID!
My ID ayanabb. Where did this other ID come from?
Thanks again, Phil0124.

Thank you, Servant of Cats, for your reply.
It is a bit unusual that Apply put out two versions of this machine.
Cheers,
Ayana
