How do I mark a podcast episode which *currently playing* on the app to remove it from my queue?

I love the queue. I love adding to it -- so much that sometimes I add an episode twice (or more often) but I don't notice that I've already listened to it until the episode is actually playing. Right now, at that point, I have to FF to the end of the episode and listen to the last few seconds before I can go on to the next item in my queue. There is no way to remove it or mark it as played that I can find. I do have my preferences set to remove/suppress episodes that I have already heard but it doesn't work in the queue feature.

Does anyone know a quick way to remove a currently playing podcast episode from the queue? TY.
