I have an audio card that needs a thunderbolt 3 cable, can I use a thunderbolt 4 cable to connect it to my Mac?

I asked in the official UAD Facebook group and they confirmed that I can use both cables 3 or 4
ThunderBolt 4 has slightly increased capabilities over ThunderBolt-4, but these apply most to USB features.
in most cases, the two are indistinguishable. If Thunderbolt-4 is required, use Thunderbolt-4
If the audio card specifically requires a thunderbolt 3 cable I would use a thunderbolt 3 to be sure
