Cannot print from iPhone 13 Pro Max after installing IOS 17

I didn’t have any problems air printing from my iPhone 13 Pro Max until I installed IOS 17. I thought 17.4.1 would provide a fix, but it didn’t. I already tried rebooting everything to no avail. Does anybody have a solution for this problem???

Since it was not an iOS 17 issue iOS 17.4.1 did not provide the fix.

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.

How can you be so sure it’s not an IOS 17 issue? I had no problems printing from my iPhone until in installed IOS 17. And no, I did not run a back up “just in case” there’s a problem. Why should I if Apple is so good? Don’t they trust they’re own products???

My wife can print from her iPhone 12 without any problems. She has IOS 16 on her phone, and she refuses to go to IOS 17. That tells me that the pc and the printer are ok. We both use the same router, desk top and printer.

When new versions of IOS come out, the message states that the update includes important bugs and fixes. What on earth are they fixing if the IOS updates are error free? That doesn’t make sense.

Thanks for your response anyway.
