Regarding LinkedIn subscription deducted by Apple Pay services (REFUND)

I utilized a free trial month on LinkedIn but opted out of autopay two to three days before the trial concluded. However, despite canceling the subscription on LinkedIn, Apple Services still deducted 1850 INR. I am requesting a refund, as this transaction does not appear on the purchases refund page on the Apple website.

If you signed up for the subscription on the LinkedIn website, then you will need to deal with that website to request a refund. Apple Pay is just a platform to securely transmit your financial information, it does not make Apple responsible for what has been purchased. You would still dispute a charge with the credit card used, just like if you entered the credit card information yourself on the website.

You can only request a refund through Apple for purchases/subscriptions made using an in-app purchase.

If the charge is recent (last 2 to 5 days), it may still be in Pending status and not eligible for a refund. If it doesn’t show after 5 days, you can contact Apple Support and confirm the status. It’s also possible this is a fraudulent charge and not a charge you made.

There are multiple possible scenarios, some legitimate and some fraudulent. Are you in an Apple Family Sharing group? If so, it’s possibly a family members subscription. It’s possible you had two subscriptions, one through Apple and one directly with LinkedIn. It’s possible it’s just an error. It could be a fraudulent charge. I think you can see where this is going.
