Wireless Apple keyboard space bar won’t work

My space bar won’t work, in Text, on the URL bar, on anything. Directions to fix this on this forum leads to no options to activate or deactivate full keyboard in accessibility settings. I do notice that in panel editor, all the buttons read when I press them, EXCEPT the spacebar.
