Incorrect email address requiring Apple ID sign in following IOS 17.4.1 installation to iPhone 15 Pro Max

Hi all, I have just installed the latest update & my settings now asks for me to sign in to an apple ID account with an email address that is not mine - similar gmail but not mine. I have check my addresses attached to my iCloud account, deleted & re-notated, but the red dot will not disappear. Any idea how I can remove this request?

Try and force restart your iPhone to see if the issue persist

  1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  3. Press and hold the side button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
