Im trying to pay a pending purchase in putchase history but whenever I add a new payment to pay for it they automatically fail?

I go to add a payment and i put in all the information and it automatically fails. But I had a friend put it on there phone and it worked. Is it because of my pending purchase or something else. I’m trying to pay for it but Nothing is working.

Otherwise “payment declined” or “card declined" message means that the issuer of the credit or debit card you have on file in your iTunes account rejected a charge or account confirmation. It is not an Apple problem; Apple is just passing through the message from your issuer. There are a number of reasons the charge or verification might be declined:

  • Apple is not allowed to accept credit or debit cards in your country
  • The card is not recognized in your country
  • Insufficient balance or account in arrears
  • Account suspended for suspected fraud (not necessarily by you)
  • Error in card number
  • Wrong expiration date
  • Wrong security (CVV) code
  • Address in your iTunes account does not match exactly the billing address for the card
  • The card was not issued in the region of the iTunes store
  • You are connected through a VPN provider that does not terminate near your actual location.

Go to your Apple wallet and delete the card attached to whatever you’re trying to pay. then go to SETTINGS app go to the top of the screen where your Apple ID is showing tap your picture go to PAYMENT AND SHIPPING select the card that you deleted out of Apple wallet and then re-enter your expiration date and CVV number that will make the amount pending retry the purchase
