i am unable to activate account on gpay by sending messgae on 15 pro max.

I am not able to activate the account on gpay on my 15 pro max. Please help.

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 17

You need to have an SMS plan enabled by your carrier for the SIM/eSIM that you use on your device. Apple Inc does not provide SMS/MMS services.

Google Pay will be enabled only for the Primary SIM

error msg: couldn’t register. Something went wrong. Try again.

Things I have tried:

I have SMS balance. Able to receive OTP and other msgs. But not able to activate account via SMS ( green)
have tried the remedies on forum, resetting mobile network, waiting for few weeks and all other workaround. None worked for me even after months.
I have no luck yet with this 15 pro max. Puzzled why I could not activate account by simply sending a message.

SMS plan is enabled and do have balance. I have only one sim at the moment in the device. Please let me know how to activate account by sending SMS in 15 pro max.
