Cant connect to wifi, or open wifi in settings iOS 17.4.1

Ever since updating my iPhone 13 mini to iOS 17.4.1, my phone can't connect to the wifi 90% of the time.

When I try to click "Wifi" in settings, it doesnt open and freezes the app.

When I press the wifi icon in control panel to try and turn off wifi, it doesnt work no matter how many times I press it.

When I press and hold the wifi icon in control panel, it doesnt come up with any networks, and also freezes my whole phone (cant exit to home screen, cant turn off etc) for a few minutes, then it reboots itself. After a while, the wifi icon in control panel is greyed out with a slash and I cant click it anymore.

If I restart my phone and wait a few minutes, everything is normal I can use wifi. However this lasts about 10 minutes before it disconnects and I can no longer open wifi settings again no matter what.

I have tried resetting network settings multiple times. I dont have any VPN. I have tried manually configuring the wifi settings. I have tried airplane mode, no airplane mode, bluetooth, no bluetooth. It's not the wifi's problem. This occurs no matter where I go, no matter which wifi I'm on.

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.
