Function keys are not working after update to Sonoma 14.4.1

Had to change microphone input to "click control twice" since the F5 key doesn't work. The volume keys don't work. The volume down key moves the window up into the corner of the desktop. Any help? I don't use many of the others, so I don't know what they're doing.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

Hello,

Choose Apple menu  > System Settings.
Click Keyboard in the sidebar.
Click the Keyboard Shortcuts button on the right.
Click Function Keys in the sidebar.
Turn off “Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys”. If it’s already off, turn it on, restart the Mac and turn it off.
