My STOLEN Iphone 15 Pro has turned on in Guangdong, China! It was stolen in central London by a masked bike theif. It first was in Dubai and then i think it was sent to China to be Jailbroken.
They then tried to request my password :(
Has this happened to anyone else???
It happens all the time. DON'T give them the information they want. And don't be surprised if they threaten you. They just want to scare you to give them the sign in credentials.
I hope by now you notified your carrier your phone was stolen and you asked them to blacklist it?
Also, DO NOT remove the device from your account. Doing so will release the activation lock and let the thieves erase the phone.
The sad reality is most stolen devices are rarely, if ever recovered.
