Return the ranking number out of a group of 12 numbers

I have basically a 3 column table. Column 1 has text; column 2 has data (values.) There are 12 rows. In column 3 I would like to put a rank value (I.e. 1 through 12) based upon the values in column 2.

There is many more rows and columns in the spreadsheet but what’s described above is the end result.

If I can do what is described in the first paragraph I can then just use the Organize>Sort. I thought the RANK function might work but not sure.

(I am not even sure how to do the in EXCEL so I am totally lost in Numbers.)

All the help ideas would be greatly appreciated.
