Unable to purchase an Audiobook

Trying to purchase an audiobook but keeps going back to purchase when I tap buy and enter password?

Ensure a stable internet connection and update your payment method. Force quit the Books app and reopen it or sign out of your Apple ID, restart your iPhone, and sign back in. If the issue persists, contact Apple Support for further assistance, as there may be an underlying issue with your Apple ID or the Books app that needs more troubleshooting.
