Unauthorized charges

My purchase history does not include multiple charges that have been made on my bank account. How do I get these to stop? How can I communicate with Apple ITunes?

Nope, not the Apple Customer service number. The charges were not made by Apple. It is a common scam to claim you have a charge just to get you to call the number that they provide and give them additional information. You are going to need to dispute the charges with your bank. Never trust numbers or links in emails or messages.

If you gave them your Apple ID Password, change it now.

There are 4 authorized purchases listed on my account "Purchase History." There are a few .99 charges and then 2 charges on the same day in the amount of $4.99.

I called the Apple Support no.: 866-993-4069. I explained the situation and the rep told me that there was a purchase of a 24 month video game made last month (video game called "Olga") for $240.00, charged at $10.00/month. He said the .99 charges were to purchase "coins" for the game.

I am a 71 year old woman who does not play video games. The guy told me that I have to go to Walmart or a similar retail outlet and purchase a $100.00 Apple gift card. Then he gave me a phone number to call him back (not the 866 number) and said his name is "Richard." He said if I then got the "refund code" from the back of the card and I call him back he will make sure my account is credited the $340.00 (240.00 + $100 for the gift card.) I confirmed with him that he expected me to go purchase a $100 Apple gift card in order to get the $10 charge on my account refunded.

What a scam! I don't know how they do it but I used the Apple customer service phone number....or thought I did.

I will dispute the charges through my bank.
