Camera issues after iOS 17.4.1

I love taking plant/flower photos, and was really loving the new plant mode. But since the new update to iOS 17.4.1 my camera hasn’t worked right. It will switch to plant mode once it detects a plant, but then it will go back to regular photo when I try to tap the screen to focus. It will switch in and out a few times, then it won’t go to plant mode at all. I’ve tried resetting the app and restarting my phone, but still having the same issue. Anyone else also having this problem?
