Is there a resolution for the Apple TV+ streaming so dark?

The Apple TV+ App on my Sony Bravia streams so dark I can’t even see it! We are on a free trial and this is a definite deal breaker if there is no fix! I have adjusted my setting and nothing corrects it. All other apps and channels play clearly in normal brightness. Even the Apple TV+ dashboard is bright and clear but when you start playing a program it is sooooo dark! Two seconds apart on these photos. Dashboard and then streaming Franklin.

The TV most likely has a setting called Filmmaker mode that turns on automatically when a Dolby Vision program is detected. This can be shut off in the settings of your TV. Not sure exactly where it is on the Bravia, but most manufacturers have it in the Picture settings. FilmMaker mode appears dark on all TV's when playing content, and the other UI elements are still brightly lit.

Possibly by doing this:

Home button
Press Settings
Press Display
Press Picture
Press Film Mode and turn it off.

I have a similar issue with two Samsungs.

plus the following does not exist on Apple TV box

ossibly by doing this:

Home button
Press Settings
Press Display
Press Picture
Press Film Mode and turn it off.
