searchpartyuseragent steals all my memory on Sonoma 14.4.1

Since upgrading from 14.4 to 14.4.1 I have started getting into out-of-memory situations with searchpartyuseragent slowly stealing all my memory (running on 32GB MBP 16" M1 Pro) ultimately causing the computer to come to grinding halt.

I am force quitting the process when I notice the slow-down but it keeps restarting and starts the memory consumption again.

Also VTDecoderXPCService is sucking memory but it doesn't bring the computer to its knees.

Are there any caches or something similar that I can flush?
