SMS stored in iCloud or only on phone?
iMessages are stored in iCloud. Are SMSes too stored in iCloud or are they stored only on the phone?Meaning, do SMSes form any portion of iCloud storage?

If ‘Messages’ is turned on in iPhone, Settings, [tap your name], iCloud, show all, then all messages in your Messages app are stored and sync’d in iCloud. The space is minimal unless MMS attachments are included.
