How do you close the Newsmax Plus app?

We upgraded to Newsmax Plus. Everything is working fine but when it's time to close the app, there's no place to log out. There's no "hamburger" icon or any other icon to help users find their way out. We had to turn off the Apple device and turn it back on to exit the app. Surely there in another way to accomplish this?
