First try signing in from a different device, if it asks for any verification or if it asks you to reset your password, you can proceed with that. It might deactivate if the Apple ID is not used for a very long time. Did you enable "2 Factor Authentication " earlier, if in that case you might have received an SMS or an Email Regarding this. Also check if you have the same issue with other devices where this exact Apple ID is used.
