no more startup cord?

Since my imac upgraded to Sonoma 14.4.1 it doesn't sound it's usual startup cord. Are other finding that?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

Perhaps the startup chime is turned off. see > Turn the Mac startup sound on or off - Apple Support

I only restart mine about once a month but still have the same sound when I do. Sonoma 14.4.1.
