Is, or should the Pencil latency feel noticeable (on 60hz)?

ipad 9 on ipadOS 16 felt like actual paper to me, unlike my 10th gen on ipadOS 17. I wanna know If I should send it to Apple or If my taste simply changed from back then

I can also see the form finishing to complete after I draw, like the iPad's working to make it look smoother
