Pop-up Mac messages. Not from Safari.

I keep getting a pop-up Mac message that says "Safe Surf Finder Daemon" will damage your computer. It then gives me two options. OK or Show in Finder. I keep clicking OK and it will go away temporarily, but then keeps popping up after a few seconds. What do I do?

iMac 24″, macOS 14.4

pop ups on iMac I keep getting pop ups on my iMac for (large number) wants to access to control "safari" - it also says that "allowing control will provide access to documents and data in safari and perform actions within the app - I don't click on the pop up and it goes away, inevitably it comes back. I'm not sure if this is a virus - but it sure does seem like it is.

MacKeeper messages / popups Hi: Today I accidentally clicked a .dmg file which had automatically appeared in my downloads folder. Since then, I'm getting far too many messages to 'clean my Mac / your Mac has a virus' (much more than prior to clicking this .dmg file). Can anyone offer any advice? I'm using an iMac (Retina 5k, 27inch, 2017) with MacOS Sierra. I cannot go any later with the OS or my older Adobe Software won't run. Many thanks in advance.

Download the free version of Malwarebytes and see if it can rid of this malware.
