External SSD drives
I have added a 4TB external SSD to my Apple mini. It shows up under About This Mac under Storage but not in Finder. As I wish to copy files to it, how can I get Finder to recognise it?

if you don't see the drive in the locations section of finder, first hover over locations and ensure the carrot is pointing downwards.
if it is still absent from locations, you can use Finder Settings > Sidebar and put a checkmark in "External disks".
