Hello.
I have just increased my Icloud subscription to 200GB.
I have about 180GB of data on my hard drive (macbookPro 13inch 2022 Sonoma 14.4.1).
I cannot find any info about how to start the upload process: only multiple sites about how to put icloud in the dock.
Question: How do I begin the upload to icloud, and how long should it take roughly?

The Mac will not store a backup in iCloud like it does on an iPhone. You can choose to store the contents of your Desktop and Documents folder in iCloud. To do this go to > System Settings > [name on top] > iCloud > iCloud Drive, and turn the Desktop & Documents folder on. That option is detailed here:
