I want to change my iPad dress. I have been hacked


I have been hacked. I want to change the IP address on my iPad. How can I do that?

The IP Address of the router is managed by your internet provider, not Apple. All IP addresses on devices behind the router are managed by your router and are local addresses only.

You were not hacked by your IP Address. Every device behind the router has a local address that is not visible beyond the router. It is likely that your account was compromised by someone gaining access to your password. This is common with phishing attempts:
