I have just bought a A1502 MacBook Pro with
8 gb 1867 MHz DDR3 of ram
and
500 gb hard drive
i would like to upgrade both
ram and hard drive
is this possible please

Maybe.
2014 and later Macs are all designed to operate as one device. Everything is soldered into the Logic Board. So, upgrading is not be an option just not an option for your model, except for the late 2013 model.
Hi, no to the first question , the Ram is soldered onto the logic board , and yes( possibly) to the second question… I’d say check out EveryMac.com for more info on that
