If Apple blocks TOR nodes, I will not work with Apple. It is not acceptable. That is all.

Orbot not connecting Hello, Using a VPN or the TOR network is one of the best methods to keep ISPs from knowing your browsing history and to prevent MIM attacks as well as iOS calling home and Apple potentially recording geo-IPs of their devices (which would be none of their business). So I have been using Orbot. But since recently it struggles to connect and if it does, the connection never lasts very long. Other VPNs (like Winddescribe etc.) are still working but they also drop out at times leaving you unprotected (whilst Orbot blocks all traffic if it cannot connect, which is much more secure). There was one contribution already a while ago, although this may have been a different issue (Orbot vpn - Apple Community) and the answer was obviously not considering any reasons why anyone would want to protect himself at all... According to a developer discussion on Github, one reason is that iOS doesnt allow more than 50MB swap space to apps like Orbot (https://github.com/OnionBrowser/OnionBrowser/issues/433). iCloud Private Relay not Working with PIA VPN I have iCloud Private Relay and also Private Internet Access VPN for broader uses. Whenever I install my VPN on my Mac (macOS 15.3), it says that iCloud Private Relay is not compatible or offline or something of that nature (yellow status). I understand when the VPN is on and active, but simply even installing the software causes that to be disabled. Whereas on iPhone and iPad, I have PIA VPN + iCloud Private Relay working side by side. Any solution? They both don't have to be on at the same time, but at least don't disable it you know? I get it if it doesn't work while the VPN is working, but it doesn't make sense why simply having the software installed messes with it when it doesn't on iOS + iPadOS. Any tips?

Does Icloud Private Relay ever work? Once in a while, maybe once a month, I get a notice saying icloud private relay is working. Does that mean most of the time it is not working? Does Apple even support this feature anymore, or just pretend it’s current like they do with Safari? What is the point of a feature that does not work most of the time?
