When I attempt to send emails with attachments, they open in the body of the message. This so annoying as I don't want to continually Right click>View as icon and still have the recipient request that the files not be sent in the body!

If you do not want to rely on how the recipient is viewing your attachments, then Zip them to always have them show as a link. Apple Mail will show PDF and Image attachments inline unless you choose to View as Icon on each attachment. When you choose View as Icon, it only affects how the attachment is viewed on your device.

Ignore - it’s always sent as an attachment. How it’s viewed by the receiver - inline or as an attachment, isn’t within your control. It depends on the Mail Client being used.
Either put it in a folder before adding to the email or zip it before adding. For PDF files if the file is more than one page it will show as a PDF file:
So always add a blank page to any single page PDF so it's not open in the email.

Whenever I add an attachment to a message it opens in my draft. Just annoying. I wish that there was a separate Mail folder or area to place attachments.
