Logic Pro - how to select a Drum VST plugin?

I have 2 drum VST plugins installed (Addictive Drums and SSD). When I create a Midi Software instrument track. How do i display the VST plugin?

Logic Pro – Volume still automated after deleting all track automation – ? I'm having trouble with a specific project (containing midi tracks only). After deleting all track automation (Mix > Delete Automation > Delete All Track Automation), the volume of several tracks is still automated. How is this possible? Any suggestions what to try? Plugins not showing up I recently upgraded from GarageBand to Logic. My problem I have no idea where to find plugins. I assumed they would be in the same place as in GarageBand (in the bottom left of the track menu next to the instrument settings, as shown below). Any help would be great, thanks.

Midi editing in Logic Pro All of my midi tracks default to my drum midi events in the edit window. So I can’t edit my piano midi info because when I double click on the piano region my drum region appears in the edit window. This is the same for all midi tracks. Even when I create a new software instrument, it still defaults back to the drum midi info in edit window.

Make sure, you have the Audio-Unit version of the plugin installed, Logic cannot read VST-format.
Create a Software Instrument Track
Select the Plugin in the Instrument Slot of the Channel-Strip
