Proper URL for the Safari Browser ?

Once I am in or on the browser I can make it the default. What is the url for Safari ?

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.11

Use the suggestions here:

Change the default web browser or email app on Mac - Apple Support

There is no need to specify a URL. Safari will open to a blank page if no url is set.
