Forgot my MacBook psw
doesnt Let me change my psw & put one in particular and is not that one

Option 1: hover over the password field and click the option to reset using your Apple ID
Option 2: turn off the device, command + R to open Recovery System, at the top hover over on "Utilities" click on "Terminal, in the window that opens type "resetpassword", press enter, and follow the instructions to reset.
