How to enable Intel VT-x on MAC(Big Sur: V11.5.1, MackBook Pro(15-inc, 2019))

My MAC INFO.:

--------------

Big Sur:

Version: 11.5.1 (20G80)

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2019)

CPU: Intel Core i7

MEM: 16GB

--------------

My Question:

My MAC support Intel VT-x (proved by above commands), but, I do NOT know how to enable it.

My Research:

I tried bellow commands to collect the information about HyperVisor:

$ sysctl -a | grep machdep.cpu.features

... VMX ...

$ sysctl kern.hv_support

kern.hv_support: 1

This meas that my MAC support Intel

According to articles from internet,

1. On old MAC OS, we just execute command: sudo nvram boot-args="kext-dev-mode=1" VT-x.

2. On new MAC OS, this command is deprecated. So, I do NOT know how to do it.

NOTE: my MAC was produced in 2019, not legacy one.

Expected result:

on the setting UI of both VirtualBox and VMWare, "Nested VT-x" option is NOT grayed and so that I check it.

I think this is a generic issue. Most developer will install VirtualBox or VMWare, right?

My case number is 102277825246.

Any tips are appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
