recover my whatsapp chat from default backup rather than icloud drive

I recently faced an issue with WhatsApp on my iPhone, which required me to delete and reinstall the app. Unfortunately, this led to the loss of all my chat data. To recover the chats, I restored from an iCloud backup. However, this backup was over two months old, resulting in significant data loss. Interestingly, I had performed a backup to iCloud on the same day before deleting WhatsApp, and was fast enough to pause this process when I realized the issue.

Here’s a breakdown of what happened:

• I paused the iCloud backup.

• Deleted WhatsApp, which also erased all chat data on my phone.

• Reinstalled WhatsApp, but found no chats.

• Restored chats from the last available backup on iCloud Drive from two months ago.

• I still have the paused backup from the day everything was fine.

My question now is: If I reset my phone and use the two-day-old backup, will I recover all my recent chats? Or will WhatsApp default to using the older backup from iCloud Drive? The recent backup is about 67GB, which indicates it includes substantial data, likely from WhatsApp
