How to adjust Printer margins on Mac preview

I have some pdfs with text and diagrams near to the edge,

when I print the from the files app on my iphone they print perfectly and close to the edge,

however when using my Macbook on the Preview app it prints the same size but with the top and bottom cropped off.

Is there an explanation for this or a solution other than printing at 95% size from the Macbook as I prefer it with the text bigger and near to the edge.
