After installing my credit card on Apple Pay when I try to use it, it shows 2-4 digit numbers like it’s assigned another credit card and it’s taking the four digit number at the end of my credit card and swapping it for the other four numbers and I can’t make the purchase

Apple Pay uses encrypted card information to complete transactions. The encrypted number is never disclosed, except for the last 4 digits. The last 4 digits is what appears on merchant receipts and are provided to facilitate returns and refunds.
