Can I print from my Macbook Air without using AirPrint?

Also, how to bypass the Print Center? It won't let me print single-sided or disable duplex printing. Never had this issue with printer drivers or on a PC.

Airprint problem with iMac, but not iphone My imac just stopped printing to both of my printers. I just loaded Sonoma 14.0. Coincidence? Both printers are recognized under System Settings/Printers & Scanners, but when I try to print, I'm told the printer is offline. I can Airprint from my iphone. All products are on the same network. When I look up drivers for my printer, it only lists MacOS up to 13.

AirPrint was primarily designed to allow iOS/iPadOS devices to print, over a wireless connection, to a wireless printer. It soon evolved to work with Macs as well.

What you didn't provide in your post is what make/model printer that you want to send print jobs to from your Mac laptop. How is this printer connected to your local network?
