Dual Sim for business line SMS for business iMessage for personal?

I added a second line through Verizon to my iPhone and ported in my business number. I don’t want my clients getting my personal number as I like to know if Call In is business or personal. I would prefer to keep iMessage only on my personal messaging and use SMS for business. this seems to work if I can have a conversation started already but if I start a new conversation in a text message with someone who has iMessage enabled, there is no way to send as a text message. I get the blue arrow, but it does not send at all and I can’t switch to SMS. The only way to send the message is to either turn iMessage on for my business line and mix the messages or add the conversation a dummy number that forces an SMS but that looks odd to my clients. Is there a way to only send the SMS messages to my second Sim card?
