What is the process for moving childrens (as well as wife) devices off of my AppleID to their own Apple ID

For simplicity, we set up those devices using my AppleID, just subject to the family controls - we didn't give him his own AppleID. Transfer family member's iCloud data to family storage A family member has their own iCloud storage. I have just obtained family storage, which is on my own Apple ID. How can my family member transfer their data from their own iCloud storage to our family storage? I have seen posts about Apple having no formal transfer process. I also have seen posts about someone buying a Mac and wanting to use their own Apple ID for it instead of the one that was on there previously. My situation is different because my family member will retain their own Apple ID on her Mac and will just accept the invitation to family storage. I also know that my family member can transfer her iCloud data to her Mac and then upload it to the family storage. I'm just wondering if there's another option. Thanks very much in advance for any suggestions.

Moving Apple ID. Save before signing out or merge? My daughter wants to switch her phone from my wifes Apple ID to her own. To save her photos, contacts, apps etc should she just turn on the save for these before she signs out of my wifes ID or use merge when she signs in to hers? I’m just wary of duplicates. She doesnt share any subscriptions.

The process is to create own Apple ID's for them, store their pictures and documents that they have in iCloud on their local devices, log out of your Apple ID, log in to their new apple id and set up family sharing if you want that

Please take note that when you don't set up family sharing, your family will lose access to apps that are downloaded with your Apple ID, as well as the things stored in iCloud
