Apple TV update today killed surround sound
My surround sound is normal on Blu-ray but when I switched back to AppleTV it would only play in stereo and on appletv app to check it lost the rear, sub and center speakers.

Is this about the Apple TV box (which model), or about the Apple TV app on a third party device (which brand and model)?
What is your surround sound audio system?
How are your devices connected in this setup?
The Apple TV app on third party devices should use that device’s audio settings. If the device itself is configured for surround sound, then the Apple TV app would use that (for content that has surround sound).
