I would like to know if there is some sort of coating on the glass of the cameras of the iphone 15 pro, and it could be eventually damaged by costant rubbing / friction inside a pant or jeans pocket.

Rubbing is never good of course, no matter if there is a coating or not
Of course it is, but it is unavoidable if you keep the phone in your pocket. I would like to understand if this can be source of degraded photo quality over time.
It is unavoidable, there are no cases that cover the camera. With all the phones I had in the past years there was never degradation in picture quality, and I always have my iPhone in my pocket
