Need some clarifications about transferring from personal icloud to family sharing

After I joined a family iCloud plan and cancel my personal iCloud plan, how can i recover my files from my personal iCloud plan? Do I have to transfer it to family plan cloud to access those files?

Your files are tied to your Apple ID. there is nothing to do, the files don’t “go” anywhere as you’re using the same Apple ID.
