Adding Google Drive to the menu bar

On my wife's Macbook Air, Google Drive is not in her menu bar. I've found no instructions for how to add it.

MacBook Air, macOS 13.2

Problem was resolved by reinstalling the latest Google Drive, which automatically added it to the menu bar.

Thanks for the clue. Apparently the installed version didn't have the necessary macOS coding. Installing the latest version resolved the issue.

There is specific macOS coding that an App Developer must use to make a menu extras application icon appear in the menu bar. If Google didn't do that, there is no means to put the application in the menu bar.
