iPhone 15 won’t connect to vehicle

i have a 2020 Chevy Traverse and I just recently purchased an iPhone 15. Cannot add phone through Bluetooth. I do not want connect charger cord and use Apple car play every time I am in the vehicle.

I try to add phone and get message of Pairing took too long make sure myChevrolet is turned on in range and ready to pair. Yes, myChevrolet is the vehicle and the vehicle is turned on.

Trouble connecting bluetooth to UConnect I have an iPhone 15 that is completely up to date and it will not recognize my vehicles UConnect in bluetooth when I go to pair them. I have the bluetooth searching for new devices and even when the vehicle i'm trying to pair with is on and in range, it will not show up on the bluetooth new devices list. Is this a UConnect software issue or an iPhone issue? Another thing, I have Handsfree in my car and when it is plugged into the USB port it wont connect to Apple carplay, any suggestions?
