Changing location of "find my" device

I want to change the location my friends see on "find my friends" and the iMessage location. I would like to possibly change it from my iPhone to my Macbook. Is that possible?

How do I change the default device for Find My? I have my iPhone and MacBook Pro on Find My. I want to temporarily switch the default device friends see from the iPhone to the MacBook. I read the instructions in Apple Support: "To change the device that you're sharing your location from, open Find My on that device. Select the Me tab, then choose Use this [device] as My Location." However, on my MacBook there is no Me tab, and on my iPhone in the Me tab I only see the iPhone as a shared location. Can you help?

That is not possible for a MacBook. If you have an iPod you can make it the location that is reported when someone tracks you using People, but if they track your phone as a Device it will still show the location of the device.
