iPhone SE 2 requesting previous owners password

If this iPhone was purchased used and still shows the Apple ID of the previous (current) owner, then contact the seller and request the lock be released, or request a refund.

If the seller can’t or won’t release the Activation Lock and can’t or won’t refund or—as has happened all too often—if the seller has disappeared, you’ve bought yourself a brick.

Only the owner can release the Activation Lock, or Apple given convincing proof of ownership. Proof of ownership which is unfortunately and usually lacking, in these cases.

Hello~ Please don’t post sensitive information here. Do you have this iPhone or is it being repaired somewhere? If this iPhone has someone else’s Apple ID on it …you will not be able to use it unless you can contact said person.
