How to fix questions asked on iPod to have Siri answer without going to your phone

Just got an iPod mini and every time I ask Siri a question, the answers go to my iPhone (which they really don't). This has been asked before because there's threads in the community, but I don't see any answers with a solution. Is there a way to fix this and have Siri answer the simple questions that I ask? It's pretty annoying! Help! :)
