Seeing ur iMessage usage

Where or how to see my iMessage usage? My Verizon account is where I go to see all my usages and phone details and info but I was told the texts usage doesn’t show on the account bc it’s a separate messaging system I was unaware of and thought is would show since that what my phone number and account is so now I’m wondering how do I see my itexts since everyone I know has iPhone and so when I look for a number on my Verizon it’s never showing I texted the numbers at all ?
