Can we isolate iPhone camera photos and videos from screenshots in library?

When I’m trying to search through (especially older) photos that I’ve taken, the results often generate more screenshots than actual pictures, which is *very* frustrating. Is there a way on iPhone’s library to keep screenshots from being grouped in with photos I have taken with the camera?

@Richard.Taylor: Well done! 👏🏻

I was experimenting with the search function, but the best workaround I’d found so far was still imperfectly selective. (I had all the screenshots excluded, but I lost some of the photos too. 🙄)

@Reiskamaraad: (That sounds scandinavian.) Good question, btw.

Building on Richard.T’s solution, I found that you can also exclude screenshots if you filter by location.

Bonus: I like that this approach generated output in a standardized grid pattern (on my ipad, at least) - which would prob facilitate the process of scrolling through a bulk set of images.

Bonus Bonus:

I’ve already learned something useful today.
